Job Description and responsibilities
- Develop reports, metrics, and other solutions needed to manage Logistics operations programs.
- Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as shipping patterns, volumes and transportation spend.
- Analyze logistics data and report monthly on Carriers Metrics performance and spend measures.
- Accurately setting up and maintaining the master-data such as locations, carriers, rates, user accounts and system passwords requested by internal and external Emerson users.
- Assist on Global and Local RFQs historic data consolidation and analyses.
- Assist business unites with SOAs and on time freight invoices processing.
- Maintain database of logistics information (MEA Logistics Portal).
- Develop and maintain tracking system for governmental websites logins and countries requirements across the region. Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
Basic Qualifications
- English (Required) Written and Verbal Excellent Communication Skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistic or related discipline is required. Professional Certification in Logistics is highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of Logistics experience within a multinational company.
- Proven experience in vast data mining, analysis and building reports.
- Experience in implementing and using Logistic software, Oracle Transportation Management, or similar systems is strongly desired .
